The 2014 WC-AMSA 5K for Charity will be held Saturday April 5, 2014. Registration will begin at 9:00, door prizes will be awarded at about 9:30 and the race will begin at 10:00.
As usual, we will meet in the Kettering Hall parking lot and the race will begin at the corner of College and Elm Streets, proceed to the Southeast Park and then on to the 4C Bicentennial Trail.The course will turn around just short of where the bike trail crosses Fife Avenue and the runners will return to the start/finish line.
WC-AMSA students have lined up lots of nice door prizes which will be awarded by a random drawing. The businesses that have donated materials for the drawing are listed below:

Registration fees are $5 for students and $10 for non-students. All proceeds go to benefit the Clinton County Free Clinic.

The 5K Run for Charity is a community service activity of The Wilmington College Premedical Chapter of AMSA, The American Medical Student Association.
The race is held every year in the spring in Wilmington, Ohio. Serious runners, recreational runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to participate. The course passes over some lightly travelled city streets but most of the course is on the 4C Bicentennial Trail bike path. The race is accurately marked and timed.
AMSA solicits sponsorships from local businesses and from within the college. These funds are used to pay for race expenses including T-shirts for participants, awards and door prizes. Surplus sponsorship money and all entry fees are donated to the United Way for the benefit of the Clinton County Free Clinic.
